01 100% Remove Screen Unlock for Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi
Note: Please note that some methods may lead to data loss; hence, it is always important to have a backup before proceeding. In addition, this app is currently only capable of removing Android lock screens on Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi devices. For the other 16 Android brands, please refer directly to Part 2.
The first method to remove the lock screen of your Android device is by simply 100% removing it. Dr.Fone offers a reliable way of removing the lock screen on Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi. These steps apply to these brands; we will use Samsung as an example.
After you download the recent version of the Dr.Fone App from your Android Device, open Launch the application. After running, go under Unlock > Unlock Android Screen to access the unlock screen tool.
On doing this, you will see another screen where Dr.Fone will ask you to select your brand of device: Samsung. Once you have selected your device brand, click 100% Remove Screen Lock.
Dr.Fone will request that you put your device into Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions on how to put your device into recovery mode provided by Dr.Fone through the following step-by-step prompts on your screen. For instance, if your Samsung Devices have Bixby and no bixby or home button, there are instructions given by Dr.Fone about putting them into recovery mode.
After that, you will be prompted with a new screen. Click Finish to complete your unlocking process. Should the process fail, click on Try Again.
02 100% Remove Screen Lock for Other 16 Android Brands
”100% Remove Screen Lock” of the Dr.Fone App is currently only supported on Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi devices. For the other 16 Android devices, it can be achieved using the desktop version of Dr.Fone. The steps are as follows:
Choose the brand of your device from the list shown on your screen.
Dr.Fone will ask you to enter your device’s info: Device OS, Brand, and Model. After filling it out, click the Start Detection button.
If your device is one of the other 16 brands, Dr.Fone will display a message that tells you that Dr.Fone’s mobile app does not support your device. Thus, removing the screen lock on your device is only achievable through Dr.Fone’s Desktop version. Dr.Fone will ask you to enter your email so they can send the desktop solution.
Dr.Fone will notify you once the desktop solution is sent to your email.
Use the link on the email to download Wondershare Dr.Fone’s Desktop version to unlock your Android phone’s screen lock.
03 Remove Without Data Loss for Android Devices
While the mobile app offers to remove your lock screen, it does not guarantee that your data will be retained. The advanced tools required for removing a lock screen without data loss are not yet available on the mobile platform. Thus, you’ll need to use Dr.Fone’s desktop version.
Click on Unlock Android Screen under the Unlock tab and select your brand from the list of brands. After that, just tap Remove Without Data Loss because this 100% Remove Screen Lock tool doesn’t support any other brand.
Then, Dr.Fone directs you to another page where it asks for some information about your device: Device OS, Brand, and Model. Just tap Start Detection after entering all necessary information.
Dr.Fone will notify you that the mobile app cannot be used with your phone, but it will also forward a solution via email to their Desktop platform. Fill out your email address in this box.
Once the mail is sent, Dr.Fone provides instructions for guiding users into using its desktop version.
Now that you have downloaded your app's desktop version, proceed by unlocking the Android screen lock.
