01 Establish a Connection Between Phone and Win/Mac
To begin, you will need to connect your mobile phone to the targeted computer. Dr.Fone App lets you do this wirelessly to make the process easier. Furthermore, the steps are no different for Android and iOS, as both follow the same instructions.

Follow these steps to establish the connection between phone and Win/Mac to transfer wirelessly:
After installing the Dr.Fone App on your phone from the respective store, open it and move to the “Transfer” section located near the bottom right corner.
Now, press the “Phone to PC” option to access the “Connect to PC” screen.
Next, launch a web browser on the computer and visit the “drfone.io/dfapp” website address. It will lead you to a page showing a “Scan QR code for connecting device” window.
Now, utilize the “Scan Code” option to scan the code present on the computer screen.
Once you see the “Waiting for confirmation” screen, move to the computer for further operations.
You will receive a "Device Connecting Request" prompt on the computer, and you need to click "Allow" to make the connection. Additionally, you can choose to trust the device through a checkbox to make future connections easier.
02 Export the Phone Files on Win/Mac
The data you transfer to your computer from the phone is not directly saved on your system. It remains stored on the Dr.Fone Air server until you choose to export it. Doing so will ensure that the files are secured on your system after you succeed in the attempt to transfer files from phone to PC wireless. Emulate these steps to export your newly moved phone file on Win or Mac:
With the transfer process completed, access the option for the data category you transferred to access the file. In this scenario, you can click “Video” to view all the video clips you moved from your phone.
Following this, you can opt for the video clips you want to store on your computer. After making the selection, click “Export” button from the top toolbar to let the program download them for you to utilize. You can also use options such “Delete,” “Add,” and “Refresh” for their intended purposes.
03 Transfer Files From Phone to Win/Mac
Once you have linked your smartphone to the computer, it is time to transfer the data you want to move. The Dr.Fone App lets you transfer photos, videos, files, and other data from mobile to Win/Mac in the quickest way. These are the instructions you need to transfer files from Android to PC in no time:
After connecting the device, a dedicated chat window will open on your phone to transfer files. You can tap the "Photos," "Videos", "Music," or other targeted options from the bottom toolbar. Whether your device is iOS or Android, you can transfer the following supported file types through Dr.Fone App - Phone to PC Transfer:

A small window confirming the device connection will also appear in the top right corner of the computer.
For example, if you press “Videos,” you can select the clips you want to transfer on the next screen. Now, hit “Send” after you have chosen the videos to let the transfer process begin.
You can see your videos getting sent to the computer in the dedicated window.
Similarly, they will start appearing on the window on your computer screen to confirm that files have been transferred.
04 Transfer Files From Win/Mac To Phone
Along with the mobile-to-PC file transfer, you can also move the desired data from computer to phone. The process to do so is also straightforward and requires no expertise to complete a successful transfer. These are the steps needed to be followed to share files online to your smartphone:
On the Dr.Fone Air file transfer window on your computer, click the “Files” icon near the “Send” button to access the navigation window. Move to the folder where the targeted data is located and select it.
After selecting the files, click “Open,” and the file will be directly sent to your mobile phone. You can view and confirm it on the transfer window on your device.
05 Disconnect/Reconnect Phone to Win/Mac
You do not need to keep the connection indefinitely for the Dr.Fone App to remember your transfer history. It lets you safely disconnect your phone to perform other tasks and let you reconnect at any time. After you connect, you will be able to see the history of files previously sent or received. Here are the steps needed to end the connection after you send files online:
After all data has been moved between devices, click the “X” icon on the transfer window on your computer. Choose “Continue” from the “Are you sure to disconnect” window to close the connection.
The screen on the computer will return to the “Scan QR Code” window.
As you close the connection from the computer, a notification will appear on the Dr.Fone App to inform you. Here, you can press “Re-Pair” to immediately reconnect the device to your Win/Mac.
After the reconnection, the screen on the computer will change back to the home page.
On your mobile phone, press the back arrow to go back to the “Transfer” tab to view other transfer options. Remember, doing so will not disconnect your phone from the computer.
You can access the PC transfer window again by tapping the “Phone to PC” option.
