Dr.Fone - Phone Transfer FAQs

  • Try to connect the device with another USB cable. It’d be better to use a genuine cable.
  • Restart your target phone and Dr.Fone.
  • If it still doesn’t work, please contact the support team and send us the program log file for further troubleshooting. You can find the log file from the following paths.

On Windows:C:\ProgramData\Wondershare\dr.fone\log (the file named DrFoneClone.log)

On Mac:~/.config/Wondershare/dr.fone (the file named Dr.Fone - Phone Transfer.log)

  • Try to connect both the source and target phone using the genuine lightning/USB cables.
  • Force quit Dr.Fone and restart it.
  • If it still doesn’t work, please contact the support team and send us the program log file for further troubleshooting. You can find the log file from the following paths.

On Windows:C:\ProgramData\Wondershare\Dr.Fone\log (the file named DrFoneClone.log)

On Mac:~/.config/Wondershare/Dr.Fone (the file named Dr.Fone-Switch.log)

  • Please tap the Home button of your iPhone twice and end the Settings process. Now restart the phone.
  • Go to Settings>iCloud and make sure that Find my iPhone is disabled there.
  • Open Safari and navigate to a random webpage, to ensure that your iPhone is connected to the Internet. Another way to test this would be to go to Settings>Wifi and switch to another network connection.
