How to Reset or Recover a Forgotten Samsung Account Password

If you've forgotten your Samsung account password, here's how to recover access quickly.

Method 1: Reset via Email (Recommended)
  1. Go to account.samsung.com in any browser.
  2. Click Sign In → Forgot Password.
  3. Enter your Samsung account email address.
  4. Click Reset Password — an email will be sent to your inbox.
  5. Open the email → click Reset Password → enter and confirm a new password.
Method 2: Reset via Phone Number
  1. At the Sign In page, tap Forgot Password.
  2. Select Phone Number verification instead of email.
  3. Enter your registered mobile number.
  4. Enter the SMS verification code you receive.
  5. Set a new password.
Method 3: Two-Step Verification

If you have two-step verification enabled, you'll need to complete that verification step during the reset process.
