How to Enable Developer Options (Any Xiaomi Model)
- Go to Settings
- Tap About Phone
- Find "MIUI Version" (older devices) or "HyperOS Version" (newer devices)
- Tap it 7 times rapidly
- Enter your lock screen PIN or password if prompted
- You'll see the message: "You are now a developer!"
Developer Options now appears under Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options.

How to Disable Developer Options

HyperOS vs MIUI Differences
On HyperOS (Xiaomi 14, 15, Redmi Note 13 series and newer), the version entry is labeled "HyperOS Version". On MIUI 14 and older, look for "MIUI Version". The activation method (7 taps) is identical on both.
