How to Fix No Signal or Weak Mobile Network on Xiaomi Phones

Quick Fixes (Try These First)
- Toggle Airplane Mode — turn it on for 30 seconds, then off. This resets the cellular modem.
- Restart the phone — solves most transient signal issues.
- Re-seat the SIM card — power off, remove the SIM tray, clean the SIM contacts with a dry cloth, and reinsert.
Fix 1: Select Network Manually
Go to Settings > SIM Cards & Mobile Networks > [Your SIM] > Preferred Network Type. Switch between 5G / 4G / LTE and 4G / 3G to see if a lower band picks up signal better in your area.
Fix 2: Enable/Disable 5G
In areas with poor 5G coverage, the phone sometimes gets stuck searching for 5G and doesn't fall back gracefully. Go to Settings > SIM Cards & Mobile Networks and select 4G (LTE) preferred as a test.
