How to Check Which Devices Are Logged Into Your Mi Account
Regularly reviewing linked devices helps you spot unauthorized access and remove old phones before selling them.
Check Logged-In Devices on Phone
- Settings → Mi Account.
- Scroll down to Devices or tap Device management.
- You'll see a list of all Xiaomi devices currently signed in with your Mi Account, including:
- Device model name
- Last active location/time
- Device type (phone, tablet, TV, etc.)
Check Logged-In Devices via Website
- Visit account.xiaomi.com.
- Sign in → go to Security → Devices.
- Full list of linked devices with last login date and location.
What to Look For
| Sign | Action |
|---|---|
| Device you don't recognize | Remove immediately + change password |
| Old phone you already sold | Remove to prevent activation lock issues |
| Multiple devices in distant locations | Possible compromise — change password + enable 2FA |
Remove a Device
On phone:
1. In the device list, tap the device you want to remove.
2. Tap Remove device or Sign out.
3. Confirm.
On website:
1. In Security → Devices, click the device.
2. Click Remove → confirm.
Removing a device signs it out of Mi Account. If it's a phone you still own, you'll need to sign in again.
Enable Login Notifications
Get alerted when a new device signs in:
1. account.xiaomi.com → Security → Login notifications.
2. Enable notifications via email or SMS.
3. You'll receive an alert if anyone signs in from a new device.
Steps If You Detect Unauthorized Access
- Change Mi Account password immediately (account.xiaomi.com → Security → Change password).
- Remove all unrecognized devices from the device list.
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (Security → Two-step verification).
- Check Mi Cloud for any deleted or accessed files.
- Review login history for suspicious locations.
Pro Tips
- Xiaomi TVs, smart home devices (Mi Band, Mi Watch), and tablets also appear in this list — don't remove them unless selling.
- Mi Account session tokens can remain active for months on some devices — even after changing your password, manually remove old devices to be safe.
