How to Enable and Use NFC on Samsung Galaxy for Payments and More

NFC (Near Field Communication) on Samsung Galaxy powers tap-to-pay contactless payments, quick device pairing, and smart tag automation. Here's how to enable and use every NFC feature.

How to Enable NFC

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Connections.
3. Toggle NFC and contactless payments to ON.
4. Or: Swipe down twice to open the full Quick Panel and tap the NFC tile.

NFC automatically turns off when Airplane Mode is enabled. Re-enable it manually after turning off Airplane Mode.

Use Case 1: Samsung Pay / Google Pay (Contactless Payments)

1. Ensure NFC is enabled.
2. Open Samsung Wallet (pre-installed).
3. Add your credit/debit card by scanning or entering details.
