Setting Up Find My Mobile (Do This Now)
Set it up before you lose your phone — it requires prior configuration.
- Go to Settings > Security and privacy > Find My Mobile.
- Sign in with your Samsung Account.
- Toggle Find My Mobile to ON.
- Enable these additional options:

Using Find My Mobile When Your Phone Is Lost
- Go to findmymobile.samsung.com on any browser.
- Sign in with your Samsung Account.
- Your registered Galaxy devices appear on the map.
- Select your lost phone.
- Choose the appropriate action from the sidebar.
Offline Finding Feature
Even if your phone has no mobile data and Wi-Fi is off:
- The phone broadcasts a low-energy Bluetooth signal.
- Nearby Samsung Galaxy devices (anonymously and encrypted) detect this signal and report the location to Samsung's servers.
- You can see an approximate location on Find My Mobile.
This works similarly to Apple's Find My network.
Tips for Maximum Protection
- Ensure location permissions are always on: Settings > Location > toggle ON.
