How to View Saved Wi-Fi Passwords on Samsung Galaxy

Learn to view saved Wi-Fi password Samsung Galaxy and find Wi-Fi password Galaxy. Use Samsung Galaxy Wi-Fi password QR code to see saved passwords One UI and recover Wi-Fi password Samsung.

Need to find a Wi-Fi password saved on your Samsung Galaxy — to share with a guest or connect another device? Here's exactly how to do it.

Method 1: Share Wi-Fi via QR Code (Easiest)

Samsung Galaxy lets you share any saved Wi-Fi network instantly via QR code — no need to see the actual password.

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
  2. Make sure you're connected to the network you want to share.
  3. Tap the connected network name (not the toggle).
  4. Tap the QR code button at the bottom of the screen.
  5. A QR code appears — the other device can scan it to join the network automatically.

This is the fastest way to share Wi-Fi without typing the password.

Method 2: View the Actual Password (One UI 6+)

On newer Samsung Galaxy devices running One UI 6 or later:

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (top right) > Advanced.
  3. Tap View Wi-Fi passwords (may require biometric authentication).
  4. A list of all saved networks and their passwords appears.

Note: This feature availability varies by One UI version and region.

Method 3: Find Password via Wi-Fi Details
  1. Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap the gear icon or network name next to the connected Wi-Fi.
  3. Some One UI versions show a "Show password" option or allow copying the password.
Method 4: Android Developer Options (Advanced)

For saved networks not currently connected:

  1. Enable Developer Options: Settings > About phone > Software information > tap Build number 7 times.
  2. Developer Options can reveal network configuration files, but this method is complex and not recommended for most users.
Method 5: Check Your Router Instead

If the above methods don't work, the simplest alternative is to check the router itself:

  • Look at the sticker on the bottom/back of your Wi-Fi router — default passwords are printed there.
  • Or log in to the router's admin panel (usually at 192.168.1.1) to view or reset the password.
Tip: Share Wi-Fi to Samsung Galaxy Watch or Earbuds

Samsung's Auto Hotspot and Wi-Fi sharing features automatically share known networks to other Galaxy devices logged into the same Samsung Account.
