How to Manage iPhone Trusted Devices for Apple ID?
Trusted devices are Apple devices signed in with your Apple ID that can receive verification codes and approve sign-ins. Regularly removing old or lost devices improves account security.
View trusted devices on iPhone
- Go to Settings > tap your name.
- Scroll down to see the list of devices signed in with your Apple ID.
- Tap a device to view details (model, serial number, etc.).
Remove a trusted device
- In the device list, tap the device you no longer use.
- Tap Remove from Account (wording may vary).
- If the device is still in your possession, also sign out on that device.
When should you remove devices?
- You sold or gave away the device.
- A device is lost or stolen.
