How to Reset iPhone Bluetooth Settings?
iOS doesn’t have a single ‘Reset Bluetooth’ button. The practical reset is clearing Bluetooth pairings and rebuilding the network stack.
Option A: Soft Reset Bluetooth (No Data Loss)
- Toggle Bluetooth off/on (Settings > Bluetooth).
- Restart iPhone.
- Forget the problematic device, then pair again.
Option B: Full Bluetooth Rebuild (Recommended for Persistent Issues)
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Tap (i) next to each unused device > Forget This Device.
- Then go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
- Re-pair your essential devices.
What to Expect After Reset
- All Bluetooth pairings are removed.
- Saved Wi‑F networks are also removed (because it’s a network reset).
- Your photos, apps, and messages stay intact.
