Can I try Dr.Fone for free?
Yes. Dr.Fone is free to download, so you can evaluate it before purchasing. You can try available free features and check whether your device is supported. If you need access to premium features, you can purchase a license. See what you can try for free.
-
Can I buy a single feature from the Full Toolkit?
Yes. You can visit Dr.Fone Store to purchase individual features based on your needs. Most features are available for both Windows and Mac.
-
Why are some features marked "iOS Only" or "Android Only" in the Full Toolkit column?
Some features are available only for iOS or Android because the two operating systems work differently. For example, Password Manager is marked as iOS Only because it is designed to recover and manage saved passwords on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
-
Do I need to download different installation packages for different features?
No. You only need one installation package for Windows and a separate package for Mac. After installing Dr.Fone, you can use different licenses to unlock individual features or the full toolkit.
-
What is the difference between Annual and Perpetual Plans?
With an Annual Plan, you pay yearly for access to all features and software updates, including major upgrades, and technical support during your subscription. You can cancel the automatic renewal at any time.
With a Perpetual Plan, you make a one-time purchase and get perpetual access to all features of the software version you purchase. Free updates within that major version are included, and technical support is provided. For example, updates from version 13.1 to version 13.9 are included, while moving from version 13 to version 14 is considered a major upgrade and may require an additional purchase.
-
What does “1-5 Mobile Devices and 2 PCs/Macs” mean?
It means that one license allows you to activate the software on up to 2 computers and use it with up to 5 mobile devices. The supported computer type depends on the license you purchase: a Windows license supports up to 2 Windows PCs, while a Mac license supports up to 2 Macs.
In other words, you can install and activate the software on two supported computers of the same platform, and manage or access up to five mobile devices with that license. If you exceed these limits, you will receive a device limit reminder. For more devices, you can purchase an additional license or choose a Business License for 6-10, 11-15, or more devices as needed.
-
What are the payment options?
Dr.Fone supports major payment methods to provide a smooth checkout experience. Available payment options may vary by country or region. For example, you can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other common payment methods in the US, and Alipay or WeChat Pay in China.

Is my phone data safe with Dr.Fone?
Yes. Dr.Fone is designed to process your phone data locally on your computer. Your data is scanned and displayed on your PC or Mac, and is not uploaded to the cloud by Dr.Fone. This helps reduce the risk of data exposure and gives you more control over your personal information.
