How to Enable and Use One-Handed Mode on Samsung Galaxy
Samsung Galaxy's One-Handed Mode shrinks the display to the lower portion of the screen, making it easy to use your phone with one hand on large Galaxy models.
How to Enable One-Handed Mode
- Go to Settings → Advanced Features → One-Handed Mode.
- Toggle One-Handed Mode on.
- Choose your trigger:
- Gesture: Swipe down in the center of the bottom edge.
- Button: Double-tap the Home button (on models with a physical button).
How to Use One-Handed Mode
Once activated, the screen content shrinks to a smaller panel in the bottom-left or bottom-right corner. Tap anywhere in the empty (gray) area to exit.
Move the Mini Screen
Drag the top bar of the mini screen to move it left or right.
Resize the Mini Screen
Drag the corner diagonal arrow to make the panel larger or smaller.
Pro Tip for Galaxy S25 Ultra
The S25 Ultra's 6.9-inch screen makes one-handed mode especially useful. Combine it with the Edge Panel for efficient one-hand productivity.
Advanced One-Handed Operation with Good Lock
Install Good Lock → One Hand Operation+ from Galaxy Store for even more gesture customizations, like side-swipe quick controls.
