How to Fix Samsung Galaxy Stuck on the Samsung Logo Screen
If your Samsung Galaxy is stuck on the Samsung logo and won't boot fully, it's usually caused by a failed update, a corrupt system file, or a bad app. Here's how to fix it.
Method 1: Force Restart
Hold Volume Down + Side (Power) button for 10 seconds. This is the quickest fix for a soft boot loop.
Method 2: Boot into Safe Mode
- Hold the Power button.
- When the Samsung logo appears, hold Volume Down.
- Keep holding until the phone boots — "Safe Mode" will appear in the bottom-left corner.
- If it boots in Safe Mode, a bad app is to blame. Uninstall recently added apps.
Method 3: Wipe Cache Partition (No Data Loss)
- Power off the phone.
- Hold Volume Up + Side button until Recovery Mode appears.
- Use Volume keys to navigate, select Wipe Cache Partition, confirm with Power button.
- Reboot.
Method 4: Factory Reset via Recovery Mode (Data Will Be Erased)
In Recovery Mode, select Factory Reset / Wipe Data. Only use this as a last resort.
