How to Manage and Customize Notifications on Samsung Galaxy
Samsung One UI gives you granular control over Sasmung notifications. Here's how to manage them so you only get the alerts that matter.
Turn Off Notifications for a Specific App
- Go to Settings → Notifications → App Notifications.
- Find and tap the app.
- Toggle Allow Notifications off — or customize individual notification categories.
Change Notification Style
- Tap an app in the notifications list.
- Adjust: Alert Style (Brief pop-up, Detailed pop-up, or None), Sound, Vibration, Badge.
Manage All Notifications at Once
Long-press any notification → tap More Settings → review and manage the app's full notification settings.
Use Notification History
Accidentally dismissed an important notification? Go to Settings → Notifications → Advanced Settings → Notification History and enable it to see a full log.
Do Not Disturb Mode
- Pull down Quick Settings → tap Do Not Disturb.
- Or: Settings → Sounds and Vibration → Do Not Disturb.
- Set exceptions: allow calls from specific contacts, alarm sounds, etc.
