How to Set Up and Use Samsung Pay (Samsung Wallet) on Galaxy

Samsung Pay (now Samsung Wallet) allows you to make contactless payments using your Galaxy phone at any NFC-enabled payment terminal. Here's how to set it up.

Step 1: Open Samsung Wallet

Find the Samsung Wallet app in your app drawer (pre-installed on all Galaxy phones). Or search for it in the Galaxy Store.

Step 2: Add a Payment Card
  1. In Samsung Wallet, tap the + button.
  2. Select Payment Card.
  3. Scan your card with the camera or enter details manually.
  4. Your bank will verify the card via SMS or bank app authentication.
Step 3: Set a Default Payment Method

Tap and hold a card to set it as your default. This card is used for payments unless you choose another.

Step 4: Make a Payment
  1. At a checkout terminal, double-press the Side button to open Samsung Wallet.
  2. Authenticate with fingerprint or face recognition.
  3. Hold the back of your phone near the payment terminal.
  4. Done — you'll see a ✓ confirmation on screen.
