On iOS 16 and later, Developer Mode is hidden by default to protect users. You generally only need this if you are developing apps or installing software via TestFlight.
Steps to Enable
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to the very bottom to find Developer Mode.
- Toggle it ON.
- Restart your iPhone.
- After restart, unlock your phone and tap Turn On in the popup alert to confirm.
🤔 Protip:
If you do not see this option, you usually need to connect your iPhone to a Mac running Xcode first to trigger the menu.
