How to Find Your Apple ID on iPhone?

If you’ve forgotten your Apple ID but still have access to your iPhone, you can quickly locate it in Settings. Your Apple ID is the email address used to sign in to iCloud, the App Store, iMessage, and other Apple services.

Method 1: Find Apple ID in Settings (Recommended)
  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top (this is your Apple ID banner).
  3. Your Apple ID email address appears directly below your name.
  4. To copy it, tap the email — it will be automatically copied to clipboard (iOS 16+).
Method 2: Check via App Store
  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Your Apple ID email will be displayed at the top of the account menu.
What if your name is shown instead of an email?
  • If you see “Apple ID: [Your Name]” but no email, tap it — the full email will appear.
  • If you're signed in with a phone number (e.g. in China), your number may be shown instead of an email.
Can’t access your iPhone?

Visit iforgot.apple.com and use Apple’s account recovery tools to look up your Apple ID by entering your name, email, or phone number.

🤔 Protip:

If your iPhone is frozen, disabled, or stuck on a login screen, Dr.Fone - Screen Unlock (iOS) or Dr.Fone - System Repair (iOS) can help you regain access so you can view your Apple ID in Settings.
