How to Review Apple ID Sign-in Activity on iPhone?
Apple ID security monitoring is mostly device-based: you’ll see sign-in prompts on trusted devices and you can review which devices are connected to your Apple ID. If something looks unfamiliar, act quickly.
Step 1: Check devices signed in to your Apple ID
- Open Settings > tap your name.
- Review the device list at the bottom.
- Tap any device you don’t recognize and choose Remove from Account if available.
Step 2: Recognize suspicious sign-in prompts
- A legitimate Apple ID sign-in alert typically shows a map/location and asks you to Allow or Don’t Allow.
- If you didn’t initiate it, tap Don’t Allow and change your password.
Step 3: Secure your account immediately (recommended order)
- Change Apple ID password.
- Confirm trusted phone numbers are correct.
- Review payment methods and subscriptions.
- Remove unknown devices.
What to do if you suspect compromise
- Don’t share verification codes with anyone.
- Avoid logging into Apple ID from links in suspicious emails; go directly to official Apple settings/pages.
🤔 Protip:
If account security work is blocked because the iPhone is unstable or you can’t reach settings, Dr.Fone - System Repair (iOS) can help restore access so you can secure the Apple ID properly.
