Samsung Contacts Recovery: How to Recover Contacts from Samsung Galaxy S7
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has been earning a lot of attention in the past few weeks which is remarkable since it has not been officially introduced by Samsung yet. As you may have already learned from numerous reliable sources on the web, Samsung's new flagship smartphone will have very unique and impressive features that have never before been carried by any other smartphone.
This fact alone has already made it a formidable competitor in the smartphone industry. But while the new Samsung Galaxy S7 has yet to be made available in the market, you have probably already thought of so many possible problems that can occur that might totally ruin your Samsung experience. Case in point: Galaxy S7 Contacts Recovery.

What will pose as a problem though is when you accidentally break your brand new smartphone and it stops working – and you forgot to back up all of your recently transferred files.

Step 1 Download and Install
Download the software by making a quick search on your browser for Dr.Fone - Data Recovery (Android) and hitting the "Download" button on the product page. Like any other program, find and double-click its .exe file in the folder where you saved it and continue.
(Note that when you use Dr.Fone for the first time, it will ask you to choose the Trial Version or the Full Version to resume the installation process. The Trial Version will only be able to show you the recoverable files you currently have in your smartphone but the amount of files you can actually retrieve has a limit. If you want to have the full experience, you have to buy the Full Version.)
Also, before you make any file recovery, you have to first make sure the program is running on its latest version to avoid any unnecessary interruptions. You can manually do this by locating the "Check for Updates" tab under the options icon on top of the software window.
Step 2 Connect your Android device
Using the cable or USB that came with your Samsung Galaxy S7, properly connect it to your PC and wait for it to recognize your Android device. The software will also prompt you to debug your smartphone (unless you have used Dr.Fone more than once) after connection. It sounds quite advanced, I know, but the software will show you a step-by-step instructional photo that will guide you through the process. Easy as 1-2-3!
Step 3 Recover Files
After you have successfully connected your Galaxy S7 to your PC, there will appear a list of the files you can recover from your smartphone. The software will scan your device with the files you ticked so if you only need to recover your lost contacts, you can choose to tick only the "Contacts" box in the window.
Step 4 Preview and recover your Android contacts
After scanning, the list of all your contacts will appear and you can select which ones to recover and which ones not to. When you have chosen your files, hit the "Recover" tab and your files will automatically be back where you need them to!
