How to Adjust Brightness and Save Battery on Itel

Lowering the screen brightness is the single fastest way to stretch Itel battery life. The brightest settings work well outdoors but burn power indoors. Adjusting it from Settings > Display > Brightness or the Quick Settings panel takes only a few seconds.

Steps
  1. Swipe down from the top to open the Quick Settings panel.
  2. Tap the brightness bar and drag it to a comfortable indoor level, around 40–60%.
  3. For fine control, Open Settings > Display > Brightness and slide the bar.
  4. Tap Adaptive Brightness and turn it on if you want the phone to auto-adjust.
  5. Open Settings > Display > Screen Timeout and set it to 30 seconds.
  6. Lock the phone and check that the new brightness feels comfortable for normal reading.
💡Protip:

If your Itel phone has an OLED screen, enable Dark Theme from Settings > Display — dark pixels use much less power and lower brightness at the same time adds even more runtime.

👍Pros
  • Brightness control is two taps away on Quick Settings.
  • Adaptive Brightness removes the need to adjust throughout the day.
  • Lower brightness also reduces eye strain at night.
👎Cons
  • Manual brightness may feel too dim under direct sunlight.
  • Adaptive brightness can occasionally over-darken indoors.
Quick Tips
  • Use Auto-Brightness only when you move between indoor and outdoor often.
  • Pick a wall with light text on dark — easier on the eyes at low brightness.
  • Reduce screen timeout to 15 seconds if you want even more battery savings.
