Does Samsung Have AirDrop?
Samsung does not have Apple's AirDrop app, but Quick Share is the closest Galaxy equivalent. It is built for fast wireless sharing of photos, videos, links, and files between supported Android, Galaxy, and in some cases PC devices.
Quick comparison:
| Feature | Quick Share | AirDrop |
|---|---|---|
| Main ecosystem | Samsung/Android | Apple |
| Uses nearby sharing | Yes | Yes |
| Cross-platform support | Broader but varies | Mostly Apple only |
| Best for | Galaxy and Android users | iPhone, iPad, Mac users |
How to use Quick Share:
- Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Open the file you want to share.
- Tap Share > Quick Share.
- Choose a nearby device or a supported contact option.
If Quick Share is not working, check visibility settings, nearby permissions, and software updates.
🤔Note:
If you are moving a lot more than a few files, such as photos, videos, contacts, and messages, a full transfer tool is usually faster. Dr.Fone is a better fit for complete phone-to-phone migration than one-by-one wireless sharing.
