How to Control Your Xiaomi Phone from a PC Using HyperConnect
Xiaomi's HyperConnect (formerly Mi Link / Link to Windows) lets you use your phone directly from a Windows PC — view the screen, reply to messages, transfer files, and more.
Requirements
- Xiaomi phone running HyperOS (or MIUI 13/14).
- Windows 10/11 PC with the Phone Link app (pre-installed on Windows 11; download from Microsoft Store for Windows 10).
- Both devices on the same Wi-Fi network (or Bluetooth for initial pairing).
Setup Steps
On PC:
1. Open Phone Link (Windows search → "Phone Link").
2. Select Android → follow pairing instructions.
On Xiaomi phone:
1. Settings → Connected devices → HyperConnect → Link to Windows.
2. Scan the QR code shown on the PC, or enter the pairing code.
3. Allow permissions prompted on the phone (notifications, contacts, phone calls).

Phone Screen Mirroring
For full screen control:
1. In Phone Link → tap Apps tab → Open phone screen.
2. Your phone screen appears as a window — use mouse to tap, scroll, and type.
File Transfer via HyperConnect
Drag and drop files directly:
1. Phone Link → Photos tab → drag photos to PC desktop.
2. Or open File Explorer → your phone appears as a connected device.
Pro Tips
- HyperConnect works over Wi-Fi — no USB cable needed after initial setup.
- Keep the phone unlocked for screen mirroring to work without interruption.
- For file transfers larger than 100 MB, USB cable (MTP mode) is faster than HyperConnect wireless.
