How to Set Up Xiaomi HyperConnect (Link to Windows PC) for Your Phone
HyperConnect (previously Mi Link / Phone Link integration) lets you mirror your Xiaomi phone to a Windows PC, share files, receive notifications, and take calls from your computer.
Requirements
- Xiaomi phone running HyperOS 1.0 or later (some MIUI 14 builds also support it).
- Windows 10/11 PC.
- Both devices on the same Wi-Fi network (or linked via Bluetooth for initial pairing).
Step 1 – Enable HyperConnect on Your Xiaomi Phone
- Settings → HyperConnect (or Control Center → HyperConnect on some builds).
- Alternatively: swipe down → look for a HyperConnect or PC Link quick toggle.
- Toggle on.
Step 2 – Set Up on Windows PC
Option A – Microsoft Phone Link App (Recommended):
1. Open Phone Link (pre-installed on Windows 11, or download from Microsoft Store).
2. Choose Android → follow pairing instructions.
3. On your Xiaomi, scan the QR code shown on the PC.
4. Accept the connection on both devices.
Option B – Xiaomi Mi Connect App:
1. Check the Xiaomi App Store (or MIUI community downloads) for Mi Connect Windows client.
2. Pair using the same Mi Account on both phone and PC.

Alternative: Use USB Cable for File Transfer
If wireless connection is unstable:
1. Connect via USB-C cable.
2. Select File Transfer mode on the Xiaomi phone notification.
3. PC opens as a file explorer — drag and drop files directly.
Pro Tips
- HyperConnect works best on Xiaomi's own ecosystem — Xiaomi laptops (Xiaomi Book series) have a dedicated one-click pairing button.
- For non-Xiaomi Windows PCs, Microsoft Phone Link provides the most reliable and officially supported connection.
- Disable HyperConnect when not in use to save battery.
