How to Buy and Use a Travel eSIM for Your Xiaomi Phone Abroad

eSIM lets you add a local data plan for any country without a physical SIM — ideal for international travel. Here's how to set it up on Xiaomi.

Step 1 – Check eSIM Support on Your Xiaomi

Not all Xiaomi phones support eSIM:
1. Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks — look for Add eSIM or eSIM option.
2. If absent, your model is physical SIM only.

eSIM-supported Xiaomi models (2024–2025):
- Xiaomi 14 / 14 Ultra / 14T / 14T Pro
- Xiaomi 15 / 15 Pro / 15 Ultra
- Redmi Note 13 Pro+ (select regions)
- POCO F6 Pro (select regions)

eSIM availability varies by region — CN ROM models generally do not support eSIM.
