How to Use Xiaomi Buds (Mi True Wireless Earphones) with HyperOS
Xiaomi's true wireless earphones (Xiaomi Buds 5, Redmi Buds 6 Pro, etc.) integrate deeply with HyperOS for seamless pairing and advanced control.
Initial Pairing
- Open the earbuds case — keep buds inside to enter pairing mode.
- Hold the case button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes white rapidly.
- On your Xiaomi phone: Settings → Bluetooth → Scan → select your buds model.
- Tap Pair on the prompt.
Faster HyperOS method:
- Open the case near your Xiaomi phone — a pop-up card appears automatically.
- Tap Connect on the card.

3. Enable in Earphones app → Multi-device connection → On.
Pro Tips
- LDAC codec provides higher audio quality than standard SBC/AAC — enable it for music listening (uses slightly more battery).
