How to Use Xiaomi Phone's Ultra-Wide and Macro Camera Modes

Xiaomi phones offer multiple camera lenses beyond the main sensor. Here's how to access and get the best from ultra-wide and macro modes.

Ultra-Wide Camera

What it's for: Landscapes, architecture, group photos, tight spaces.
Typical field of view: 110–120° (vs 70–80° on main lens).

How to access:
1. Open Camera app.
2. In the viewfinder, tap the 0.6× or 0.5× icon (or UW label).
3. The lens switches instantly to ultra-wide.

Tips for Ultra-Wide Photography

• Hold steady — ultra-wide exaggerates camera shake.
• Keep subjects away from the edges — lens distortion bends lines and faces at the corners.
• Best for: mountain landscapes, city skylines, group selfies, interior spaces.
• Use Grid lines (Camera → Settings → Grid) to keep horizons straight.

Macro Camera
