How to Use Xiaomi's Super Clipboard to Copy and Paste Across Devices

Super Clipboard is one of HyperOS 3's most underrated features. It lets you copy content on one Xiaomi device and instantly paste it on another — eliminating the need to email yourself links or screenshots.

Supported Devices
  • Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO phones running HyperOS 2.0 or later
  • Xiaomi Pad series tablets
  • Windows PC via HyperConnect (formerly Xiaomi PC Connect)
How to Enable Super Clipboard

1. Open Settings → HyperConnect (Cross-device).
2. Tap Clipboard sync and toggle it on.
3. Sign in to the same Mi Account on all devices you want to link.
4. Ensure all devices are on the same Wi-Fi network or have Bluetooth enabled.

Using Super Clipboard
  • Copy on phone → Paste on PC: Copy any text or URL on your Xiaomi phone. Open a document or browser on your PC. Press Ctrl + V — the content appears instantly.
  • Copy on PC → Paste on phone: Copy text on your PC. On your phone, long-press any text field — a ""Clipboard from [device name]"" suggestion appears above the keyboard.
  • Image Copy: Works with images too — copy a photo from Gallery on your phone and paste it into a PC folder or app.
HyperOS 3 Clipboard History

HyperOS 3 also includes a local clipboard history (last 5 items):
1. Long-press any text field.
2. Tap the clipboard icon above the keyboard.
3. Browse and tap any previously copied item to paste it.

Privacy Note

Clipboard sync only works within your Mi Account ecosystem. Xiaomi states clipboard data is encrypted in transit and not stored on external servers.

Pro Tip: Pair Super Clipboard with HyperConnect's Quick Share to send large files — use clipboard for quick text/links and Quick Share for files over 1 MB.

This feature significantly speeds up workflows for Xiaomi users who work across multiple devices daily.
