iOS provides intelligent suggestions to free up space instantly.
Accessing Recommendations
- Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- Look for the section titled Recommendations (below the graph).
Common Recommendations
- Offload Unused Apps: Automatically removes apps you haven't used in months while saving your data.
- Review Large Attachments: Shows a list of large videos/files sent in iMessage. You can swipe left on them to delete.
- Auto-Delete Old Conversations: Deletes messages older than 1 year automatically.
Tap Enable next to any recommendation to activate it instantly.
