01: Open WA Tracker in Tracover and Add WhatsApp Contacts

To begin tracking WhatsApp online status, open the Tracover app on your Android device. Next, add the contact whose last seen and online activity you want to monitor.

• Tap Add Contact on the WA Tracker screen.
• Choose a contact from your phone list or enter the number manually (with the correct area code).
• Tap Start Tracking to begin monitoring that contact.

This tool lets you check WhatsApp last seen status and track when your contacts are online or offline in real time.

💡 You can track multiple WhatsApp contacts at the same time. Perfect for keeping tabs on friends, family, or team members.

02: Link Your WhatsApp Account Securely

After adding a contact, you must complete a one-time linking process before Tracover can start tracking. Follow the steps below depending on whether your contact is already a WhatsApp friend.

Option 1: Link with Your WhatsApp Friends

If the contact is already on your WhatsApp friend list:

• Step 1. Start the Link-WhatsApp Process

After adding the contact, tap Link WhatsApp under their name. A permission window will appear — tap Authorize to allow Tracover to access necessary media folders.

• Step 2. Add Your Phone Number for Verification

Next, tap Use This Folder to confirm secure media access. Then, select your area code and enter your phone number to receive a verification code.

• Step 3. Complete the Linking Process

Enter the verification code received via SMS and re-login to your WhatsApp account. If verification fails, tap Link WhatsApp again to explore other methods:

• Via Computer: Visit wa2.vip on your PC → enter the 6-digit code shown in Tracover → follow on-screen steps.
• Via QR Code: Share the QR code with another device and scan it from your WhatsApp app to complete linking.





Once completed, Tracover will securely connect your account and begin collecting accurate online/offline status data.

Option 2: Link with Non-WhatsApp Friends

If the contact isn't yet in your WhatsApp chat list:

• Step 1. Chat with the Contact to Initiate Linking

When you tap Link WhatsApp, Tracover will prompt you to start at least one conversation with the contact in WhatsApp and update your backup. After sending a message, return to Tracover and tap Authorize to grant access permissions.

• Step 2. Verify and Grant Access

Tap Use This Folder to enable secure media access. Choose your area code and enter your phone number to receive a verification code.

• Step 3. Complete the Linking Process

Enter the received verification code and log back into WhatsApp to finalize the connection. If any verification error occurs, press Link WhatsApp again and use one of the available options:

• Connect via wa2.vip on a computer using your 6-digit code.
• Or use QR code linking from another mobile device.





After successful linking, Tracover will automatically start gathering real-time WhatsApp activity data for your tracked contacts.

03: Start Tracking Online & Offline Status

Once the linking process is completed, Tracover will automatically begin collecting and displaying your contact's online and offline activity data. Here's how to start monitoring and interpret the information clearly.

Steps:

• In the WA Tracker list, tap the target contact's name.
• Open the Activity tab.
• You can now view the following live and cumulative metrics:
  • Online/Offline timestamps showing exact log-in and log-out times.
  • Total daily online duration summarized automatically.
  • Daily or weekly activity trends, visualized in a clear timeline chart.

Tracover functions as a comprehensive WhatsApp last seen tracker, offering precise timelines and visual analytics to help you understand patterns of use over time.

3.1 Get Instant Notifications for Online Activity

Tracover can instantly alert you when a monitored contact goes online or offline. To enable this feature:

• Go to Profile → Notification Settings.
• Turn on both Online Notification and Offline Notification.

Once enabled, you'll receive immediate alerts whenever the contact's status changes.

Even if your device is temporarily offline, Tracover continues tracking in the background and syncs notifications when you reconnect, ensuring you never miss an update.

3.2 Customize Tracking Hours

If you only want to monitor your contact's activity during certain hours, you can easily set custom tracking times.

• In the contact's Activity tab, open Customize Tracking (or the Customize tab).
• Tap Add Custom, then select specific days and time ranges — for example, only track between 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM or Weekdays 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Save your settings.

Tracover will now only collect and generate reports during the selected periods, allowing for more focused and relevant behavioral insights.

3.3 Compare Online Times Between Contacts

Tracover also lets you compare activity between multiple contacts to find overlapping online periods.

• On the WA Tracker Dashboard, tap Compare Contacts.
• Choose two or more contacts, then tap OK.
• Tracover will generate a comparison chart showing overlapping online intervals and statistics.

This visualization helps you analyze whether two people are often active at the same time — a feature especially useful for identifying possible interaction windows or communication patterns.
