How to Restore Samsung Galaxy from Samsung Cloud Backup [2026]
If you've backed up your Samsung Galaxy to Samsung Cloud, restoring that data is straightforward. Here's how to do it.
Method 1: During Initial Setup (New Phone or After Reset)
- Power on the phone and go through the setup wizard.
- When prompted, tap Restore from Samsung Cloud.
- Sign in to your Samsung account.
- Select the backup date to restore from.
- Choose which data to restore (contacts, settings, messages, etc.).
- Tap Restore — the process takes 5–30 minutes depending on backup size.
Method 2: Restore on an Active Phone
