01: Creating Your PIN or Face ID Protected Secret Space

Before you can safely hide photos in iOS, you'll need to establish your authentication method. Secret Space offers multiple protection layers to suit your privacy needs - you can choose between traditional PIN code or the convenience of Face ID, with the option to change this later in settings.

Step-by-Step Setup:

• Open Photo Cleaner app and select "Secret Space"
• Tap "Set Password" (first-time users only)
• Enter your chosen 4 digit PIN twice for verification
• Confirm with "OK" to activate your private vault

Pro Tip:

• Enable Face ID: Tap top-right corner > Settings > Face ID
• Change Old Password: Tap top-right corner > Settings > Change Password

02: Importing and Hiding Photos/Videos Securely

The core function of your secret album is to make sensitive content disappear from iCloud Photos on all your devices while maintaining private access. This process physically removes photos and videos from your camera roll while storing encrypted copies only in Secret Space.

Complete Hiding Process:

• From the Secret Space homepage, tap "Secret Album"
• Press the "+" button at screen bottom, the choose "Import photos or videos"







• Select media to hide (multiple items supported)



• Click "Import" in bottom-right corner

Critical Privacy Decision:

When the pop-up asks "Remove the selected items from your phone after import?":

• Selecting "Remove" and allow Photo Cleaner to delete photos will:
  • Erase from all device albums
  • Delete from iCloud Photos
  • Preserve files in "Recently Deleted" for 30 days
• Choosing "Cancel" leaves files visible (not recommended for true privacy)

03: Restoring or Permanently Deleting Hidden Photos/Videos

Your private photo album on iPhone gives you complete control over hidden content. You can temporarily restore photos/videos to your device or erase them permanently - all while maintaining PIN/Face ID protection.

To return photos to your camera roll:

• Open Secret Album and select target files
• Tap "Download" (bottom-left)
• Items reappear in iPhone build-in album and vanish from Secret Space

For irreversible deletion:

• Checkmark the photos/videos to remove
• Press "Remove" (bottom-right)
• Confirm action (no recovery possible)

Pro Tip: Use "Download" when you need temporary access to hidden files, then re-import them later for continued protection.
