Part 3. Weapon Customization in Monster Hunter Now

Monster Hunter Now offers excellent character customization options. However, you get what you get when it comes to the weapons. For instance, there aren’t any skins you could use to change the weapon’s appearance.

How do you get different weapons in Monster Hunter Now?

The only way to “customize” your weapons or change them in Monster Hunter Now is by unlocking new ones or upgrading them.

When you start the game, you’ll only have access to the basic sword and shield. To unlock new weapons in Monster Hunter Now, you must rise through the hunter ranks and progress along your main quest. You can do that by combating the monsters you come across on your map.

For the great sword, dual blades, and lance, you’ll have to complete the first stage of the quest, “Chapter 2: Shimmering Swamp”. For the bow, light bowgun, hammer, and long sword, you’ll simply need to get to Hunter Rank 15.

From there, you can start collecting resources to upgrade your weapons. Different weapons in Monster Hunter Now will require different resources, so you’ll need to collect monster materials, other materials, and plenty of Zenny if you want to upgrade.

You can also use these materials to forge new weapons or overgrade your existing ones.

Part 4. How to Make Your Monster Hunter Now Gaming Experience Smoother

To make your experience better, it’s not enough for you to just change or unlock new weapons in Monster Hunter Now – though that’s certainly a critical aspect of it. There are a few additional things you’ll want to do. Take a look.
