Step 1 - Launch dr.fone
Launch dr.fone on the computer and from More Tools tab select “Android SIM Unlock”.

Step 2 - Connecting the Android device
To start with the process, use a USB cable to connect the Android device to the computer. Ensure that the USB Debugging mode is enabled on the Android device. If not, go to “Developer Options” in settings to enable the same. If you don’t see the developer option, tap on the build number seven times to enable developer options.

Step 3 - Enter USB settings/Diagnostic/Service Mode
Instructions to enter USB settings/Diagnostic/Service Mode on the Android device show up on the program interface.
Dial *#0808# or #9090# or##3424# on the Android phone. One of these codes will work and the Android device will enter USB settings/Diagnostic/Service Mode automatically.

Step 4 - Unlock the phone

After the process, the phone needs to be brought back to normal mode. So, click on Restore Mode on the program to continue. Restoring the phone to normal mode requires few codes. So, dial *#0808#or#9090#or ##3424# on the Android device and select USB[*] or PDA or MTP + ADB on the hidden menu.
Then, click on "Next" and it's done. The phone is now successfully SIM unlocked and will enter normal mode now.
For Samsung S3-S7
Unlocking these devices is simpler but this process requires rooting the Android device.
Step 1 - Connecting the Samsung phone
Using a USB cable, connect the rooted Android Samsung device to the computer. dr.fone will detect the device automatically.
